Introduction
UNS S31008(310S stainless steel) is austenitic chromium-plated stainless steel, which has good oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance. It accounts for several percent of chromium plating and nickel plating, which makes it have good winding change strength and can continue to operate at high temperatures.
Due to its high content of nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr), 310S has good oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and high temperature resistance. High-temperature resistant steel pipes are specially used for manufacturing electric heating furnace tubes and other occasions. Carbon is added to austenitic stainless steel. After the content, the strength is improved due to its solid solution strengthening effect. The chemical composition characteristics of austenitic stainless steel are based on chromium and nickel with elements such as molybdenum, tungsten, niobium and titanium added. Since its structure is a face-centered cubic structure, This results in high strength and creep strength at high temperatures.
